About the Band

Professional Fresh Energy
The Kimberly Michaels Band caters to the Twin Cities with a careful business commitment
and connects with both their clients and live audiences in an enthusiastic professional way.  That special discipline is
combined with a professional fresh energy. The Kimberly Michaels Band takes a diverse array of familiar
songs to the "next level", creating a dazzling infectious energy for all.

This is a New Era of the 'All-American Girl'…an adopted Korean native Minnesotan singing R&B as though her
roots were in soul music from her past lifetime. Music bridges the world and connects us all through it's undeniable
Universal language.

Flexibility & Versatility
The Kimberly Michaels Band is known for it’s
Contemporary Jazz, R&B and Soul sounds,
but the incredible musicians of this group have played, recorded and toured with such an extraordinary array of world
renown artists, the insightful adaptability and multi-talents they possess are of a world-class professionalism. We do it all
from Cocktail Receptions to Dinner Music to Stage Shows to Dancing & Party Music for Corporate and social events, Benefits,
Fund raisers and Weddings!  Jazz, R&B, Soul, Disco, Motown, Swing, Rock, Latin, Blues, Ballads, Funk, Pop and
current Top 40 are all a part of Kimberly’s Band’s repertoire.

One size does NOT fit all   And any size band can be arranged from an intimately sensitive trio or quartet
to a remarkable full size 8- to 13-piece orchestra complete with 4 singers, and horns to match your budget and/or the venue.
Those are the benefits Kimberly has from singing for several years with the respected R-Factor, the reputable Synergy
(both formerly of The Rupert’s Orchestra) and other world renown artists.
First class and first in their class,
The Kimberly Michaels Band is clearly set apart from all the rest.

The Sound
Everything from beautiful classic Jazz to honest & raw Contemporary Neo-Soul, Electrifying Funk, Dance
and divine R&B - there isn’t much they can’t do.
When your ears are delighted and satiated with intoxicating
funk and jazz, spattered with satin-laced Soul & dipped in rich passionate R&B, it must be The Kimberly Michaels Band!
The influences and sounds of this group cannot easily be described using just one single genre due to the stunning
versatility of the fine musicians. Kimberly delivers a sweet soulful experience touched with a sensual, melodious vocal
that rises to raw and passionate.  The musicianship is a balance of a confident solid with an unpredictable and enchanting abstract.
